Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

All new patients are asked to pay a $350 deposit to secure their booking with Dr Watts, a cooling off period of seven days between a patient paying the $350 consultation deposit applies. Once the cooling-off period has ended, the consultation deposit becomes non-refundable. A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice is required to reschedule your appointment. Failure to give notice will result in your deposit being forfeited and a new deposit required to rebook an appointment.

Consent Forms
To avoid your appointment being rescheduled, we kindly ask that you complete and return all consent forms, a minimum of one month prior to your appointment, but preferably immediately.

Pre-consult Images
Dr Guy Watts requires all patients to email their images prior to their appointment.

Referrals
A GP referral is required to see Dr Watts. It is important that this referral include a detailed medical history and your current BMI. Please note that due to hospital policies surrounding surgical safety, we cannot guarantee an appointment for patients with a BMI of over 28.

Pre-consult Video
To get the most out of your consultation, we kindly ask you to please watch the video links that were emailed with your confirmation. In these pre-consult videos, Dr Guy Watts outlines and discusses the surgery in detail. By watching these videos, it allows Dr Guy Watts to spend more time with you during your physical examination.

For patients wishing to be placed on the cancellation waitlist, all documentation must be received in order for you the be eligible for a cancellation appointment.

Clinispa | By Dr Guy Watts

A $100 deposit is required to secure all Clinispa appointments, both new and existing patients, and this is payable at the time of booking your appointment. Online appointments will be held for 24 hours and if we cannot reach you to pay the deposit the appointment will be cancelled. To ensure your appointment is secured we ask that you call upon booking to make payment.

We are aware that circumstances can change. Given the great demand for appointments, we ask patients to call the clinic on 08 9286 1600 and give us at least two full working days’ notice if they won’t be able to arrive at the appointed time. This will allow us to get in touch with those on our waitlist for an appointment.

Patients may be charged the entire treatment cost if they change or cancel appointments with less than 48 hours (two whole working days’ notice). Your $100 deposit will be forfeited as a result of this. We reserve the right to deny requests from the same patient for subsequent bookings.

Cancellation Due to COVID-19

Patients who are unable to attend due to COVID-19 infection and cancel within 48 hours will be asked to provide proof of a positive test or a medical certificate from a GP to confirm the illness. Failure to do so will result in the deposit being forfeited and a new deposit must be paid to secure a rescheduled appointment date.
