Emma Di Falco (RN)

Emma is a dedicated Senior Surgical First Assistant Nurse with over 10 years of experience in surgical nursing in the operating room and post-operative care clinic. With a strong background in surgical procedures and patient care, she excels in providing high-quality support to the surgical team and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.

After graduating from Edith Cowan University with a degree in Nursing, Emma quickly advanced in the field of plastics and dermatology and then went on to obtain specialised training in surgical assistance under the guidance of Dr Guy Watts. She is skilled in various surgical techniques, and pre and post-operative care and is adept at collaborating with surgeons to facilitate efficient and effective surgical outcomes. Following her degree in nursing Emma completed her Masters of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) and a Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing

Emma is known for her meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to remain calm under pressure. She is passionate about continuous education and regularly participates in workshops and seminars to stay updated on the latest advancements in surgical practices.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Emma is committed to mentoring and training junior staff, fostering a supportive learning environment within the surgical team. She believes in the importance of teamwork and collaboration in delivering exceptional patient care.
