Breast augmentation is one of the most popular cosmetic surgeries performed by Dr Watts. The female breast is the embodiment of the feminine form and helping you achieve your ideal breasts is a passion for Dr Watts. Whether you desire a fuller breast, accentuated cleavage and enhanced contours, or perhaps a subtler enhancement and filling of that new bra, then a tailored breast augmentation by Dr Watts may be for you.
The procedure involves placement of implants under the breast tissue, under the muscle or a combination of these techniques known as the dual plane procedure. Incision location will depend on the type of implant chosen, your breast shape and personal preference. Common options include around the areola or in the breast crease. Today, there are a large variety of implants choices available for modern breast augmentation and the final decision will be made after a detailed discussion of your goals, desires and expectations with Dr Watts.
• Increase breast size
• Enhance cleavage

Breast augmentation is usually performed alone however depending on your breasts it may be necessary to combine it with a lift. During you consultation Dr Watts will assess your breasts and advise you on the most suitable procedure to enhance your contours. It may also be possible to combine this with a tummy tuck as part of a ‘mummy makeover’.
Dr. Watts performs breast augmentation on an inpatient basis, using general anaesthesia. The procedure will usually take 1½ hours to complete. Comfortable dressings will be placed over the breasts and a firm supportive bra applied after the procedure. After surgery you will be observed overnight to ensure your recovery is progressing well before you are allowed to return home the next day with a friend or family member. Day surgery facilities are also available for those patients who do not require an overnight stay.
Written procedure specific information sheets will be given to you in order for you to prepare for your surgery and the recovery period. You may experience mild to moderate discomfort after the procedure and so a postoperative analgesia regime will be tailored to meet your specific needs. In general, you can expect to return to office-based jobs within 7 days and more physical work within 10-14 days.
Dr Watts and his team are dedicated to providing ongoing care, support and guidance throughout your entire journey.
