A chemical peel is a skin rejuvenation technique which is designed to remove the outer damaged layer of skin by dissolving dead skin cells and stimulating new cell regeneration, leaving you with soft smooth, more radiant looking skin. Chemical peels can provide light to moderate skin rejuvenation depending on the formulation used and individuals aesthetic requirements.

Light peels involve the superficial exfoliation of the epidermis and are effective for those wanting to improve uneven pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, mild acne scarring and revitalize dull looking skin. These treatments require minimal downtime and can be repeated on a regular basis until desired results are achieved. Superficial peels are a fast and effective method to rejuvenate the skin whilst fitting in with your busy schedule!

Medium depth peels produce more dramatic results as they address a deeper layer of the skin (dermis) stimulating new collagen and elastin formation. These peels are designed to not only improve skin texture, tone but also help correct those tell-tale signs of ageing such as fine to moderate lines and sun damage. Healing time is a little longer with a medium depth peel as the new skin regenerates. The effects however, are not only more noticeable but also longer lasting and therefore only need to be performed once to twice per year.

During your personalised consultation your skin type and problem areas will be assessed and a customised peel regime to best suit your needs formulated. Chemical peels may be performed alone or in combination with other cosmetic treatments to maximise facial rejuvenation.

The vectorise technology of our peels ensure the correct delivery deep into the skin to reduce downtime with enhanced results.

A course of four treatments over a four to six week period is advised to gain the full effect with each treatment taking around 45 minutes to complete.
