DERMAL FILLERS PROCEDURE AND RECOVERY PERIOD

Dr Watts and his specialist injectable nurse perform dermal fillers in the comfort of his consulting rooms. The length of the procedure depends on the extent of correction and combination with other treatments but on average takes 30 minutes to complete. You will likely see the results of your injections immediately after the procedure however depending on the filler used further enhancement or correction may follow over the subsequent months.

Written procedure specific information sheets will be given to you in order for you to prepare for your treatment. Occasionally some patients may experience some minor welling and possible bruising at the injection site. The period of swelling depends on the type of filler used and the location but will generally have settled within 24-48 hours. You will be able to resume your normal daily activities following the treatment. The results of dermal fillers vary in duration and may require regular treatments in order to maintain the desired degree of facial rejuvenation.
