Ashe is an asset to the practice of Dr Guy Watts and she has seen first hand the practice develop to what it is today. A qualified Registered Nurse and Dermal Therapist Ashe’s current role as Practice Director allows her to oversee the integration of both the clinical and business sides of the practice, ensuring the highest quality of service.

A Western Australian local Ashe completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Curtin University. After completing her Graduate program at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital she followed her passion to work with children and accepted a job at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.

Focusing on surgical nursing she found a home working on the Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedic ward. Working in a tertiary paediatric hospital she was tasked with managing challenging medical conditions, complex wound management, perioperative care along with trauma and emergency nursing. As a senior nurse she helped to develop practice policies and guidelines to ensure the safe care of patients along with coordinating a managing a busy surgical ward.

Ashe then worked at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, South Australia and The Mater Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, Queensland. This experience allowed her to continue to develop her skills in paediatric nursing and focusing on the care of peri-operative surgical patients.

During her time as a nurse Ashe developed an interest in the cosmetic surgery industry. To further pursue her passion she relocated to New York in 2013. Ashe completed an internationally recognised Dermal Therapy training program at the Atelier Esthétique Institute of Esthetics located in downtown Manhattan. The Atelier Esthétique Institute was the first accredited, internationally recognised U.S. member of the International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC).

After completing her training she gained further experience at Plastic Surgery and Dermatology of New York with Dr Elie Levine along with working at the Prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in the Department of Plastic Surgery. With a passionate group of private clientele Ashe developed a niche as freelance Makeup Artist during her time in New York.

Ashe returned to Perth in 2015 and joined the practice of Dr Guy Watts. A warm and friendly personality Ashe is always available to help in any capacity. Her wealth of experience and high clinical standards help strengthen the foundations of our surgical practice.
